With the crazy week or so that we've Been having I really need This this is the newest A10 by FMS if you might be thinking because you Know a lot of times we see FMS and Eflight making about the same thing but With a different paint Scheme or Something uh that is not the case with This A10 this is actually significantly Larger than the eflight A10 it does have You know the good A10 look going on here But it is a 70 mm now if you don't fly EDF Jets that's electric ducted fan Jets Then that is the diameter of each EDF so There's two engines they're really Motors and they're 70 mm in diameter the Eflight version is 64 mm and that Doesn't sound like much of a difference But when you put it on the airplane and Then make the airplane scale to those 70 Mm it is is a lot bigger this barely fit In our Honda Pilot uh with the third row Down very easy assembly FMS is topnotch On the quality if you're drooling over This and you want to check it out for Yourself we'll have it linked in the Description box uh depending on when I Release this it might be on sale but Probably not by the time we get this Video out to you guys Black Friday sales Just were not that exciting this year Were they I did pick a few things up but Just not too exciting that doesn't mean The airplane won't be I'm super pumped
To fly this the fly on this look Ridiculous the scale look is just Amazing very drool worthy and I'm Honestly a little nervous for this Maiden just because over the last week Or two the only thing I've been able to Get out here and fly I've been really Small ready to fly planes for the most Part or very small arrows plug-and play Now this does fly on a 6S battery and It's a recommended 5,000 milliamp where I think the eflight is 3200 or maybe 4,000 I think 3200 is like the biggest That'll fit in the E flight I've got a ,000 in there now and they have their uh Reflex flight stabilization in here the Reason I like this flight stabilization Is is ease of use you plug it in to your Favorite receiver and just assign it to A switch and it works I can't say that About everything that's out there it Doesn't usually just work that easily so You know this is a maiden flight I could Just sit here and talk about all kinds Of things I do want to show you guys uh The missiles and ordinances all those Slide on and off with the rail system And then before we do a takeoff Hopefully at some point you will have Seen the ret tracks or you're seeing it Now because those ret tracks are uh like Twostep and they are beautiful they have Panels that cover the wheels and all That so uh they've really knocked this
Thing out of the park it's making me Smile and drool just by looking at it Let's just put it in the air and see how It Does Okay oh the lights too so I didn't Mention but this thing needs eight Channels uh to function if you want Everything including the flaps the Retracts the lights and the Stabilization I am nervous goodness man I'm nervous but this is big and pretty And traditionally the bigger they are The easier they are to fly and stuff so As long as I did everything right it Should be a great flight and we're Shooting for 4 minutes or less on this One Abby you ready expos in here and Everything There we go nice and smooth very very Smooth on the movement actually Wow way Uh maybe I have too much Expo on that Aeron that was way too Gentle landing gear going up oh my gosh Yeah I think I got too much Expo on that Aeron cuz that's too too soft too For me I need that to be a little Snappier but Man oh that's Awesome yeah too much Expo on that Aon For sure I'll hit that on the next Flight though oh my Gosh yeah I love the black and white and Gray kind of urban camo look on this
Thing my gosh they have nailed this Nailed it see a roll here we go come on So the roll rate's good once I get it Past I put 25% Expo on a run just a Little too much I think we'll see though Maybe I'll like that when it comes to Landing it and I am flying with the Flight stabilization off I sometimes Trust myself a little bit more than Flight stabilizers on my maiden flight So that's why I did that we're going to Roll it and then on this next pass I'm Going to keep the altitude and we're Going to try a loop back here so want to Maintain my speed go down a bit and then Here we go we got 20% Expo on that Elevator doing it high just cuz I didn't Know if we have some pull to that or What but man this is just a gentle giant A10 I love my eflight A10 but this just Feels Good not that it doesn't but the this One you can just tell when you're flying This you can just tell it's a giant in The Sky oh I like it and we got to be Careful on flight time cuz we just got a 5,000 in here 2 minutes okay so we'll Probably shoot for a landing around 3 3 And A2 or [Music] So oh I like this Abby still got those Maidenflight nerves on this though Because you know I've had this out on
The dining table for longer than I Should have putting it together because We've had so many issues with the with Emilia's Health popup you guys that have Been following us closely we appreciate You guys we love you guys especially for The all the concern and stuff uh let's Check the climb on this let's just do a Nice vertical climb at the end of the Runway we'll Full Throttle it and see What it does you know things are sort of Settling down but I'm going to rud her Over that climb rate was insanely Awesome could have just kept it going Easily I think it's time for a nice Loop Out here too just felt good coming off That Dive that was Awesome okay minutes yep on this pass Let's uh let's land it where I feel most Comfortable which be right to left I Think we're going to put landing gear Down make sure we see all of It it's all down I see the light too and I think we'll go in for a half flap just To slow me down some cuz it is big and Heavy and I didn't even use the flight Stabilizer on this Maiden my goodness I Need to do that on the next one flaps Are here we're at zero throttle that was Awful cuz I had to look down off of my Radio it's not going to be touchdown in Front of us I don't think we'll see We'll see we'll see we'll see oh that
Was beautiful my goodness just soft as It could be okay um that was awesome and Fun I I know we're going to do more with This on the channel I'm trying to decide Do I fly it again in this video Abby and I need to try to get some other shots so Maybe I don't know that was such a good Maiden I don't want to uh ruin it on I On my maiden flight and stuff oh that Was really cool oh I love this thing There's our flaps we'll put those up It taxis really well and it actually is A lot quieter than I expected this is my Biggest twin EDF that I own that is a Twin 70 mm oo man they nailed it so There's one weird issue with this and I Want to I'm telling you so maybe someone Can help me out I don't know if it's my Receiver I don't know if it's the plane Or what when I bind it up the ESC on Both Motors goes be Really Rapidly Okay it's because it thinks the throttle Is too high even at zero throttle so What I have to do is down trim it about 50% so I think I'm going to have to turn My trim on Throttle Down about 50% each Time before I Maiden it so I don't know Why it's doing that but I think that's Probably my only complaint also it's not Really a complaint it's a pro tip the Reflex flight stabilizer it has foam on The bottom of mine when I got it but
Nothing sticky I highly recommend you Scrape that foam off and use my secret Weapon that I've been trying to tell the World about I'll have it linked in the Description box below you got to check It out for yourself but it works wonders For receivers and flight stabilizers Because it's a special gummy gooey but Reusable kind of tape the holds Extremely well I want you to check that Out because it works really well it's Better than gluing a receiver in there Or something like that this is heavy I'm Not even going to pick it up it is a Giant A10 isn't that amazing and what an Awesome Maiden we had especially after Having been away from flying bigger more Powerful things I was a little bit Nervous so I'm really happy with today And I as I said at the beginning of this Video I really needed this so I want to Say a massive thanks to God for getting Us through this really hard last week That we've had at least up until this Point you know it's we had to wake up at 3:00 a.m. which is 4 or 5 hours earlier Than usual to take our daughter to a Hospital that was a couple hours away For an MRI so you know that's the kind Of stuff we've been dealing with um and I needed this but but for being with us And getting us through that and and you Guys having our backs I just thank you All and and God for the opportunity to
Allow our paths to cross share these Experiences with you guys and I'm just Eternally grateful for life in general And all of this so thank you as nervous As I was to mainten this A10 I'm Grateful that I have the AMA there's a Couple airplanes back here there's a lot Of radio chatter going on and I'm Allowed and supposed to be here I'm you Know it's nice that I am here but I'm Still glad to have Ama in case there was An incident today with my new big Powerful jet if I lost control or Something happened um and even if I'm Flying the way I should be and following The rules and guidelines things can Happen out of your control accidents do Happen so insurance is a must when You're flying stuff like this and it's a Great way to educate yourself on the Hobby as well so we'll have their Website Linked In the description box Below but I just keep seeing so Much flying and promoting of our Hobby In a very negative way that people Shouldn't be doing and that's why we Have the FAA involved and and our foam Toys so please do yourself a favor and Do the hobby a favor and at least Educate yourself with AMA Linked In the Description box below by the link to This airplane now guys when you use that Link it does help to support our Channel And our family at no extra cost to you
