I really thought these VLS were a thing Of the past at least in this style years Ago we featured probably three or four Different versions which were really About the same thing on our Channel and They were always fun a couple were made Slightly better than the others but now We have a new brand with a newer version Of this it features three brushless Motors you'll notice the one in the back Is just vertical here that one doesn't Rotate or do anything it's just there to Help provide lift when this takes off Off like a spaceship all of these motors Will face upward and will take off and These are on servos the two in the front Because those Motors can shift down and We can both fly vertically now like this And really fast forward motion and this Rear motor turns off it has three Different flight modes at least if it All works well it's supposed to have Three very distinct very different all Super fun flight modes and in today's Video we're going to make this and see If they are still as amazing as what They were years ago so let's put it in The air and see how it does if you can Tell we've even got lights on the wing Tips which is really cool I mean this Has stabilization it's pretty reasonably Priced throttle up and down is uh to Bind it there we go oh my goodness yeah We might your back one's not spinning
Stop right Stop stop I'm stopping It the back wasn't Spinning oh your back one's not getting Enough lift yeah it's just not [Music] Moving all right that worked well I'm Thinking maybe the rear motor is fried Or something okay so We're we're going to fight some Wind High rates Rates it's just drifting away I know We're going to go manual mode which will Put the Okay waste of Time Hilarious it fluttered down to the Earth Like a little injured butterfly always These things I have such high hopes for You know I remember now why they Probably stopped selling these oh we Liked these It just that back motor I think is dead Abby I really do I think the back motor Is just dead so we're going to try the Vertical takeoff again because it kind Of Worked grasshopper on the back oh yeah There Is have fun little Grasshopper what is with us in Grasshoppers lately worked right that Worked here we go it just didn't I was Fighting too much wind so here here's
Your Horus like your absolute vertical Mode you know Harrier mode Really look out of them please don't Kill me Today now we should be able to go Into forward movement mode but let's see I don't want to hurt us so let's let's Do high L rate that's low that's high It's fighting some wind I want to hit The Button it said it does nothing in this Mode now if I flip it up Into 6G Mode that's when it dies and yeah so It's just has has a dead rear Motor welcome to the beauty of our Channel I Mean when that one came down it really Snapped off okay that's the front end Durability Factor isn't amazing I see And they never were now we've had these In the past and and they're delicate Because of their intricacies but usually They can at least work out of the box Remember we had one with like lights on It that one was awesome sure yeah they XK I think had the best one but it was In the same shape and same idea of a Functioning rear motor to lift off Vertically and then it would transform In the air and at the end of this video We'll link that amazing one that did Work it still exists if I'm sure it Doesn't but at least the video is
Probably out there uh the idea the Concept of these are amazing and when They work well man they're a lot of fun But I think That although this isn't the video we All were hoping for and expecting when You tune in to watch something it's a Very important learning opportunity for Everybody watching if you see YouTube Channels that don't show this kind of Stuff these short fail Flop videos Whether it was my Fault or Reason of a dead Motor trust me these incidents do happen They just don't show them or they fix Them off camera and then show it working Perfectly and they might just slide it In there but like come on we um we like To show the realness here on our Channel And and this this happens these things Happen sometimes you guys get stuff uh Delivered that has a bad motor or Whatever and yeah you can change the Motor but did you pay for a working RC Or a not working RC yeah I know so Um it's I just hope that you see the Value on our Channel as really an Opportunity to talk about you know when We show stuff like this there are some People that will inevitably complain in Our comments for not showing a perfect Demonstration for not reaching out to Bangood getting a perfect working model And then showing basically a commercial
For the thing now sometimes when we do Show things that we love like those Awesome little Arma gorgens just a Random example we recently recorded that Those things are fun I mean we we get Out and we have a blast with them and Every now and then a naysayer may come Along and be like hey you know they sent That to you of course you're going to Say great things listen this company Sent this to us and they allow us the Freedom of speech to say whether or not It is good or bad and that's why we like Working with them that's why we like Working with Horizon that's why we don't Work with Traxxas that's why we don't Work with motion these are prime Examples uh and there are other Companies out there that are really on The fine line that don't like when we Show or say bad things uh but we do it Anyway and we don't care because if a Company has something to hide you know We don't want to work with them and and We don't and we've even been asked uh to We've been offered money to take down Videos of showing realistic things Before not from from this not from this Company so anyway it'll be linked in the Description box below I don't recommend You buy this because we got ours with a Bad motor and obviously it's really Really delicate it can handle even a Little flutter down to the ground but
