Oh buckle up buttercup this is going to Be a bumpy Ride this is the 64 mm A10 by motion RC technically it's freewing freewing But that's motion no one else sells it So that is motion and this comes in at a Pretty competitive price which is the Reason a person might want to pick this Up but when you find out after you get This at your house and you start taking It apart there is so much that lets me Know why it's about $100 cheaper than Its competition we're going to talk About those reasons before we fly it and I hope that you guys are nasty Nate or You regular Nate I don't know what's Happening it's back and forth I don't Really want to keep moving the Hat Okay I hope you guys appreciate the fact That we will talk about the build Process to right before we fly this Because let's face it if you buy this You've got to assemble it and I think The first thing to note are the Ordinances and the missiles on the wing Of this airplane every one of these are So cool looking but I hate the fact that They're all glued in place come on A10 Every single company Under the Sun now Has their missiles on those sliding Rails that come on and off and these Drastically affect flight performance so For me every now and then I like to put My missiles on and fly this thing
Because it looks so darn cool but when You're flying it it really puts a drag On things literally and I like to take Them off to fly more for fun they get Beat up pretty bad too so I can imagine These are going to fall off and I'll Probably never glue them back on let's Talk about glue too the tube of glue That comes with this plane you would Think would be perfect in schlog but It's not that thing is worse than slime That I bought from the dollar store for My 5-year-old it is Ooey and gooey and Just gums up and never gets hard so you Better believe I got the good hot glue Out to put this thing together you might Think that that's all you could say bad About this plane but no there's More but wait there's more in today's World where eflight planes FMS planes And even arrows planes I think are doing The wing clip where you put the wing on And it just pops right into place this One you had to feed the wires through With nasty y harnesses those wi Harnesses once you get them in the Fuselage are no longer labeled and it is A guessing game as to which one is your Ailerons flaps and landing gear now the Wise Builder can see which one is Landing gear with a 3: one harness but It is a guessing game and I think that Could have been Sol solved just with a Sticker label like they did they labeled
It down here when you're plugging it Into the Y harness but the Y harness had No label the instructions are kind of Like trying to Decipher Yoda hearing Yoda talk for the First time but in reverse and upside Down and I'll show you a couple examples Here they were by far the worst Instructions and that's comparing them To Dynam to put a plane together my Expectation of motion were somewhere to Compete with eflight and FMS because That's kind of the vibe I get from Motion RC but when I had this plane in Hand again I was highly disappointed Also the wiring for my motor mount back Here this I had to do with the little Bullet plugs again I've got some Pictures to show you guys I was just Sorely disappointed when I realized how Much additional assembly there was to Put this together versus its main Competitor which is the eflight version Again eflight is significantly more Expensive but the build process on this One was somewhere Between eflight stuff and Dynam stuff It's got to be down here closer to Dynam But still better than Dynam uh one more thing and I'm sure There were a few others the instructions Had me put these ordin es on first they Never even mentioned having to put in The push rod for the flaps now if you
Put these ordinance on First and glue Them in place to finagle around this Servo with that push rod is almost Impossible in fact it actually hinders The movement of that push rod so put the Push rod on before you glue these on Just simple things like that that they Didn't even address they don't address Some of these little accessories that Come with it either I do love the way this looks which is I Was going to say is there uh anything You actually do like okay I do love the Way this looks more than anything and The main reason I chose to have the A10 On the channel is because I've got other A10 experience to compare this too and I Think that's very fair for me to do for You guys this is a plane that I've seen Relatively no Content um online about and so that was Another reason I wanted to feature it Now once everything has been plugged in It seems pretty cool we're going to fly On a 4S I think they want a 3200 to 3,800 or something along those lines That's what we're going to fly on today I've got a 50c discharge battery we're Going to Maiden it and fingers cross That it goes well there are no lights on This plane but there are flaps and Retracts I'm using a six Channel Receiver and I'm excited to put it in The air because the last time we had a
Motion plane on the channel was years And years and years ago and we only said Like two negative things about it at all You didn't crash it I crashed it but it Was my fault I repaired it and put it Back on the channel and I said I didn't Like the stickers and boy that made them Awfully mad so I've been wanting to do Motion RC stuff since then and it's just Felt like sour grapes so Abby said for Father's Day I could pick out a couple Different planes that we don't normally Mess around with and I've been wanting To do this for years and I'm finally Taking the time to do it because you Guys been asking for it for a long time It's time for an honest maiden of the 64 Mm I think this is the version two of Their A10 so let's put it in the air and See how it does [Music] Sound pretty good for 64 mm I'm honestly Excited for this I want it to do well But the build experience compared to Pretty much all other build experiences Other than Dynam or like really bad Chinese things um wasn't great you it Could have been way worse but certainly Didn't do me any favors let's see how This goes Come on baby there we go get that Landing GE up I know I know I know that Didn't feel good oh boy it's like this Almost feels underpowered or Dy yeah I
Know this is you want to land it oh I Have to okay get your landing gear down I don't know if it's all I don't know Why that's flying like that Golly Wow This is oh boy yeah it's like feels like There's a bag of rocks just around in This thing look at that that this is Scaring me please Landing your down TR Try again I got to maintain some Speed what is going on something is not Right at all that didn't feel good okay We're going to just try to put it down Here something feels so wrong about This I if it's CG okay there we go it's that's pretty Much in one piece that did not feel good At all it felt probably tail heavy Probably tail heavy but that is the Recommended battery I want to do Everything I can to pull that forward And we will try that again that's Probably other than the FMS um red P-51 Mustang if you guys remember that That's probably one of the worst Takeoffs I've had maybe ever other than Hand launching Some weird stuff from bang good through The years that was a really rough Takeoff and I'm honestly surprised that Came back in one piece so okay I was Expecting way better flight performance Than that I'm going to just take a look In there and see what's going on Definitely got to be tail heavy man
That's the only reason it should fly Like That why is the laning gear in the way Of where the battery needs to be well The battery really should be up here so Here's why my receiver is here and the Battery had to go further back one of The servo wires I think it's the Elevator one is just short it's just a c A centimet long so you know where do I Put my receiver well there's nowhere to Put my receiver so I'm going to try to Move it up into possibly the way of the Uh steering servo but that's better than Being a tail heavy plane so let's try That again no one nobody likes tail Heavy anything shove it all the way as Far up as you I'm going to Yeah by far I Don't even want to take this back up I That was pretty scary I don't want to Either but I think I know why it was Flying like that are you going to rip The ordinances off next well I don't Want to no that's that was drag but I Think the reason it flew like that was Tail heavy and and again I I had the Battery as far forward as I could Possibly go is that as far as it can go Now I'm going to every single millimeter Is going to make up yeah I Know move your hands so I can film it Okay try again this is definitely not as Tail heavy we got to keep the speed up Is a big when you think you might have a
Tail heavy issue speed is definitely Your friend once you slow down it's all Over so we want to build up the speed Before we try to do anything remotely Drastic at all but that's definitely Better it still doesn't feel good let's Put the landing gear up and it still Just wants to like Ppus this is not fun to fly and it Wasn't fun to build so That's big and I'm using the recommended Battery too oh my goodness I don't like Seeing something like this oh who does Do you have expo Expo is at U 25% on the Elevator or no 20% on the Elevator there we're getting it there With a little bit of up trim and the Right CG but again that's a 3200 Milliamp as far forward as I can get it You know if you add more weight my Instinct was to put a 2200 in here and I Know that look at that I'm just I'm Fighting the whole time I'm fighting it I I can't take my thumb off of the right Stick or it will just get Destroyed absolutely destroyed but if I Keep my thumb on that then we can kind Of Maintain trimming it up a hair you know By far by far can I say is this an Enjoyable experience the reason it looks Like it's smooth is cuz I'm holding my Thumb down elevator's thumb or rather up Elevator and pulling back on it so when
You let go it wants to go down now I can Probably continue to trim this up and Get it to fly a little bit better but This just doesn't have great flight Performance or good Tendencies out of The box and I'm Full Throttle right now So this is just it's just a constant Handful in the air but we're going to do A roll here we go oh yeah look at that Roll rate wow did you see how Snappy That was did gosh that was pretty cool I Like that okay let's do that again Super Snappy roll right boy I wish this Was just more fun to fly we're putting Landing gear down I do not want to crash This you're not even going to snap it oh No no definitely not I can't you know Your limit yeah so landing gear down I See all three we're going to land Hopefully hopefully right to left here Because we have a very very light Breeze And I just want that to benefit me and Not hinder me so let's bring it in as Best we can I don't care if I land it Fast I just want to land it Oh man and it's going in the grass That's okay that's okay that's okay That's okay it's down it didn't snap in Half I'll take It I wonder if he broke anything on that Little cartwheel Landing anything break Uh small breakage yes and I'm kind of Surprised at it but your nose yeah and Now this is nice let's look at this they
Did add some weight to the nose and I Almost think I want to add more because There's room for more have you ever seen That a company do that before yeah a lot Of times it's just fishing weight or you Know they bury them in usually in the Fuselage somewhere to balance the plane So I need to hot glue that back on um That probably took a good brunt of the Cartwheel so I'm not I'm not hating on It for that and it was definitely my Fault um but there's an opportunity here For me to add more nose weight and in my Opinion that's what it needs so I think I would get some fishing weight lead Weight and hot glue that to the nose the More the marrier on this one cuz that's Not going to hurt at all your uh ret Track still work let's test that good oh N there goes that okay here we Go and let's test everything else really Fast and Flex I think this is my favorite looking One of all of the a10s on this is just a Disappointment I'll give you that I love The army green and army like I like the Stickers black stickers on that looks Good the cool factor is high yeah the Build factor and fun factor and Flyability is rather low I mean that was Quite the handful flying uh so yeah I Mean I fly a lot of stuff you can take It with a grain of salt if you want to Or you can take it for face value which
