How does Nate always seem to crash these really easy to fly cheap RC jets? This seems like deja vu, because I am pretty sure this happened on a very similar RC jet before! LoL! My first version of this jet is the one That you're taking a nice close look at With all of those missing chunks of foam Why would that ever happened oh my Goodness I've been having a lot of fun With it that's because it is my favorite Current RC jet or at least fake jet with A brushless propeller now this when it's Spinning disappears and you see these Really bright afterburners and you would Think that this is like a real jet Fueled RC yet and it is awesome but you Can see it has seen better days now it's Holding up well it still flies great but You know me and I like a nice clean Paint job and that is where our brand New version of this comes in it does Have a couple different paint schemes uh But everything else should be about the Same but because it's such an awesome RC Jet I'd love to show you guys this thing In the air and how easy it is the fly a Lot of people think that RC's are hard To fly they used to be back when your Dad and your grandpa and your great Grandpa was learning to fly them and They lose connection and crash into a Million toothpicks that's not how it is Anymore these things can almost fly Themselves because they have Stabilization it won't let the plane Turn upside down unless you hit the Magic stunt button in the case of this Jet you hit the magic stunt button and
It can fly inverted by itself until you Hit that button again has a couple other Stunts it can do too so I'd like to try All of that in today's video and hope That it doesn't end up looking like my First version version of this jet let's Put this in the air and have some [Music] [Music] Fun one year ago Abby didn't realize she Was going to have to say this every Single time lunch with confidence lunch Forence go eate every Time but look how much better Nate has Become it works it's all because of that It works gives me that extra little Boost of confidence before I take off You are flying out of this world sorry I Just had to get a feel for the feel for The jet there's hands Free and look at the afterburners in the Oh so cool so Cool this is so quiet I can hear that Loud car revving off in the Distance very easy to fly looks amazing Has really good flight times good Performance nice and scale super durable I know this because we've already flown It twice on the channel before but we Just have a different paint Scheme now Ah nice new airplane without chunks of Foam missing it's nice if you guys want To fly an RC jet but you don't want to Spend the real jet money and that can
Get into the $30,000 range or more and Then you know you can spend just a few Thousand or so on the real turbines you Just want to fly something like this get Out and enjoy some fresh air get a Little good hand eye coordination going So your gaming skills go up up up Up get this jet because it's way more Affordable I love it I really love it it Comes with our version at least has Three batteries a USB charge cord I mean You can get out and fly for a solid hour With those three batteries which I think Is really cool so it flies well it's Easy to fly but we've got some stunts That we can do too and we have increased Rates and stuff so let's actually do all Kinds of things 3D 6G we hit that we're in manual mode and That means I can do manual rolls and Manual loops and actually fly this thing Without worrying like those little war Birds let's do a loop here we go right In front of us maybe okay didn't happen More speed now a loop there we go that Was nice fully manual fully manual Abby I don't know don't shake your head at me That was beautiful beautiful helmet at All it was so crazy really good actually One more Loop here we Go yeah that's really nice and oh oh That was my fault that was totally my Fault there goes the nose completely off Just hanging out right there
Didn't pack the hot glue gun did you no I did not you think it'll still fly Without the Nose I filmed that terribly Because of the sky situation today light Dark fairly excessive Damage look oh that's sad it's easy to Fly huhate takes it out of regular mode I don't understand people give me a hard Time now that that looks bad yeah but It's it's not we can Just I'm just kidding but it does have That nice yeah perfect yeah good is it That's great little scuffed up this on The other hand not so good but little Dab of hot glue will put this back Together looks like you can just shove That I think I'm going to for now oh Nope that broke So okay it needs more toothpick yeah I Need a I need a new toothpick to hold That in place we will glue that back in Place this on the other hand Unfortunately the battery tray cracked Really bad that was a really hard crash Now I am going to try to fly this again What happened cuz I filmed it terrible I I was in manual mode and I flew into the Sun and lost Orientation and smacked it into the Ground that's what happened I was Rolling I think and was inverted didn't Realize that I wasn't out of that uh Roll and just crashed into the ground
These things happen am I worried about This at all no not at all I kind of feel Like you could fly it yeah I'm going I'm Going to toss it back in the air this Just came popped off yeah just popped Off I got to fix that or she won't fly Let see how tail heavy it is without a Nose it won't be because it has Auto Stabilization so I think it'll Compensate for it but I want to Encourage you guys now first and Foremost when you have a damaged Aircraft you should always try to repair It before flying again however I know From experience this will be safe I'm Also in a safe space where there's no One around that could even get hurt or Anything so everything is moving Properly the way it should the only Thing we have is a visual defect here on The front of the uh the Jet and I can Easily fix that with hot glue I will Have to devise something to reinforce This but I can fix that until then that Battery is not going anywhere it's Wedged in there very tight you're flying It so I'm going to fly it absolutely you Ready all right without a nose launch With confidence launch Fidence it flies and it Would oh it barely flies correction it Barely flies yeah so we might Too much long it's turning oh my gosh You're so high yeah it might be a little
I think it is actually a little to Heavy imagine That bring it down oh okay we are going To land it safely uh we'll put it in the Grass if I can get it to turn around Here we go oh yeah we can get it facing The right way and we'll plop it right Down in the grass right over here behind Us so we have a little bit of control Over it but not All and Plop okay good job the main thing in the Hobby and to take from this video is I Think to not get discouraged when you Crash cuz you will cuz I do we all do Now I know for a fact from firsthand Experience people literally telling me Other YouTubers cuz you know we talk Sometimes we talk sometimes uh sometimes People don't post the the crashes the Realness of this hobby that was a goofy Crash that was a goofy mistake but I Promise you even the guys that are Getting paid 10 grand to show up to Events to fly for things they crash they Just sweep it under the rug okay I like To post this kind of thing to remind you Guys that we do all crash I feel like That I'm a fairly decent pilot but I Also the the most fun I have in the Hobby is when I push myself to learn Something new or I do something new and Then I can repeat it and the more I Repeat it with the less crashes the
Better I'm getting and I don't know what I was this isn't you know anything to Brag about anything you're doing on this One really in like the big world of RC Uh for those stunt guys or anything but I just can't keep it flying in a circle I got to I got to push it to do Something else and I think that's why we Crashed today if you want to see the Full capabilities of this airplane I've Actually got another video of the darker Gray version where I show it flying Inverted and stuff and that's why it got Scuffed up on the top of the jet cuz It's flying inverted and runs down the Runway and gets a nice Road Rash so That's what that's from anyway it is a Great jet it's very easy to fly it's Super fun I think it's very affordable But I think the most important thing to Remember from all this to is AMA that's The Academy of model Aeronautics I Crashed today and I feel okay with that Crash because I have Ama uh they are an Insurance program but they also fight The good fight for those of us that like To fly foam toys unfortunately somewhere Along the lines the FAA got a little bit Confused and they think that this needs To be monitored and documented and you Know I don't know it could be way way Way worse than the situation that it is In if AMA wasn't there to at least hit The brakes slow things down and ify
