[music] Hope your weeks going well so far. We
just got this shipment in from Dragon of the Lunar Approach kits, so we'll take a
look at that. Okay we're gonna take a look at what's inside the box here of
this Apollo 11 Lunar Approach kit from Dragon models. You can see that it comes
with a nice illustrated instruction sheet. Here's the decals and you'll see
right there – those are some photoetch antenna grids. Let's look at that just
how nice the detail air has on this model kit. Look at the nozzles for those
rockets. You can see that this is a larger kit than the 1/72nd scale kit.
Compared to my hand there it's a pretty good size model. One of the interesting
things about this model is that the lower stage of the lunar module has the
foil texture molded right on to the part so you're not going to be trying to
cover this with gold foil, although you will want to point painted with some
gold colored paint.
And here's a closer look at the ladders and the landing gear. And in other news from Dragon Models –
they have just announced a 1/72 scale Saturn 1B model kit. This will
stand about three feet tall when assembled and was a fine companion to
the Saturn V kit. There will also be a 1/72 scale Apollo recovery kit. It
comes with the Apollo capsule and the helicopter and there will be a 1/72 scale Apollo 13 kit that comes with a damaged service module.
