All right will it snap let's do right There oh yeah look at that wow it's like A whole different airplane St out what Well we just got done maiding this brand Newx M262 and it's a great airplane if you Like scale warb birds for sure it flies A lot quieter than thex citation which I Like and it's just a head turner I Really really enjoyed that Maiden flight Uh for just some Casual Maneuvers however I'm wondering Can we up our game a little bit by Taking off the landing gear it's Supposed to just pop on and off remove It like you man It there we go so I want to do a hand Launch and a belly landing on this and I Want to see if taking off this oversized Landing Gear will increase its maneuverability There we go There it does pop off so I'll work on These other two wheels then we'll do a Hand launch and see if this flies any Better with the landing gear off so Let's Go launch with confidence launch Confidence almost almost forgot oh man Wow too much confidence too much Confidence launch with more confidence Maybe less confidence I'm not sure just Do Better that was better was that in safe
Or out of safe and safe on that one uh Well the reason that was my throw I Threw it too steep of an angle this one Was like I'm picturing like 20° or Something did you Dent it no it's Actually fine good soft grass Landing so Okay now we're in the air it's fair Right okay out of out of safe and I Think it looks better and I already can Tell it's flying better honestly those Rolls are so much nicer and cleaner I Don't I don't have to give it down Elevator on the roll so check that out That's so much cleaner oh they did not See any of That they didn't see any that I film it So poly okay here we go so your film job Was as bad as my hand launch maybe oh Look at that look at the look at the Loop the loop was way cleaner this is Flying significantly better what is Wrong with you what's wrong with you I'm Just really glad you rephrase what you Were going you Said sorry that's fine this is Definitely flying Way better without the landing gear way Better all right will it snap let's do Right there oh yeah look at that wow It's like a whole different airplane Let's do that again what what what wow This is so much better with the landing Gear off I highly recommend now this is Worth look at that snap that was amazing
That's not scale Nathan I don't care it It's way more fun to fly way more Maneuver able this was almost a video we Did not record I said you know what We're here do you want to do a followup There's lightning off in the distance And thunder so this is going to be a Very quick quick flight it's way far Away but the climb rate let's do a climb Rate test and then an inverted pass too Okay so here's the climb rate I'm not Going to touch anything I'm just going To let it keep climbing way higher That's like double the altitude so I'm Guessing it Loops better now too cuz it Couldn't really before I have done a few Loops and commented on that already but I'll do another one for but I want a Nice clean Loop okay here we go nice Clean Loop so much better so much better and We'll snap it right here so much better Wow I am really surprised by that the a Lot of times landing gear can make a Small difference but even the inverted Flight is way Better wow it's a whole different Airplane take that landing gear off it's A whole different airplane I'd say about half as much elevator to Hold that inverted Pass so yeah wow I wouldn't even mess With landing gear unless you absolutely Have to and learn from my he there's an
Outside Loop will it do it yes okay Almost so we're just kick safe on cuz I Lost orientation the fact that this is a Silhouette flying with the time of day That we're flying it now and the Thunder Th rolling in yeah so we're not going to Fly much longer But take my word I know this is a quick Flight quick video this is like double The Airplane double the airplane with the Landing gear off it's probably one of The most significant changes I've ever Experienced simply by removing landing Gear so I'm going to do my best to maybe That's how the scuff got there Nathan uh Well I'm sure they flew it without it But still you got to land in the grass Right cool okay we're going to land it Just behind just in the corner where we Usually do Hopefully unless I fall short and scuff It so maybe that is [Music] How oh and I wanted to just bleed off Some speed that was beautiful wasn't It too much confidence on the Landing nice little Cartwheel blade of grass but otherwise In great shape no that scuff was not From me if you missed our Maiden flight The grass is though did you bend the Nose no no it's all in very good shape Perfect shape really honestly M yeah

Did something by taking the landing gear Off doing a hand launch not super risky But yeah know could have crashed the Plane did something the hand launch is Just a maiden flight it's an unknown I'm So glad that I fly with AMA when I'm Maiding something especially it's an Insurance program for those of us that Fly RC planes The Academy of model Aeronautics it's a great program they Just hosted an awesome event that Unfortunately we missed due to some Hotel issues and and bad weather that Hit the day that we were going to be There uh but we were really looking Forward to going to that event that Doesn't mean we made it to 2 and a half Hours there yes we spent 5 hours on the Road only not to go to it but there's Other events that we've got our eyes on And we'd love to attend and we're able To do that because of the Academy of Model Aeronautics so use their website That we'll have Linked In the Description Box near the link to the Airplane and check out some local events In your area sign up to AMA and you can Go fly with everybody and have a really Good time maybe even join the club Finally I want to say a massive thanks To our patreon supporters because we Couldn't do what we do as often as we do It without your insanely awesome support Guys if you miss the maiden flight I
