This is our follow up flight of the E-Flite Eratix 3D FF (Flat Foamy) 860mm RC plane. This is such a cool looking plane and it flies great!! Let us know your thoughts about this rc airplane in the comments.

Abby I do think we're a little on the Crazy side for being out here today 20 Something degrees you're two weeks away From popping at time of filming and Since we're so crazy let's fly a crazy Plane the erratics I love this thing and Really I intended the next flight of This plane to be Abby flying it on the Channel Well I thought To be you again anyway okay you're Allowed to fly more than once in my mind I just made up that you were gonna fly It again I don't know why this thing is Absolutely amazing it's a blast the Price point is so spot on uh we'll talk About some stuff about this plane while We fly it but it's so cold I prefer to Feel my fingertips while we fly so let's Get this in the air before they are Frozen off Abby there's definitely 100 Something wrong with us for being out Here today stuff's so cold it could snap Mid-flight So let's do it let's snap it mid twice Now I have only flown this a total of Maybe three times so I'm uh Rusty it's been a while it's been since It came out basically so bear with me Yeah some real good stuff wow oh my gosh Four point Loops are nice I love you you are so low doing that Well it's a plane that likes to fly low This is the kind of fun stuff we can do
I got a little bit of jerky beef jerky And a little super tuna Mountain Dew That's a breakfast of champions you know That's that's what we like to do as RC Pilots let's go Eat that kind of good junky food And fly our planes and so it's a perfect Day really I feel like you're standing Really far away from me ah I mean I know I'm a wide load right now but if you are A wide load I try to steer clear of the Second wife This is just fun to fly I just needed to Get another flight in on it oh wow this Spring and summer I am planning to fly This as just as many times as my battery Will hold up and let me fly it I'm I'm Gonna Fly the snot out of this thing and Hopefully learn a thing or two that can Transition to bigger airplanes just you Push the controls and see what happens It's really fun And I'm just trying to focus and do some Stuff uh let's see Abby let's climb it And do the tumble down which you okay Flight time's nice on this so one point Of contention people had with this What was the price well that's like How many do you think that was someone Rewind that slow motion and count Um the price people were no people that Are kind of like in the know Are good at the price right because they Know it's like 200 I think for buying
And fly the receiver alone is worth what 50 bucks something like that something Like that so you're looking at a plane Built except for the short assembly part Um With all the electronics For 150-ish 140 and I think it's I think It's absolutely on point people are even Comparing this to the best or the at the Time at least current best [Music] Uh flat 3D airplanes which if you do Build yourself you might be able to save 20 bucks or so but then the assembly Time and just like where do you value Your time and this thing is amazing it's Very well-rounded I'm not a 3D pilot and You can see what I can do with it it's Really fun high performance airplane Anyway I don't know I don't want to get Into it too strong but I I think the Price is on point to fly a plane like This and by the way it has safe so there I just kick safe on and I can fly this Around like a little trainer point if I Want to it needs no space to fly you can Eat up a lot of space if you want to I'm Flying on a little 3s battery I actually think I have a little bit of Left Rudder on there could be trimmed up Some and and it also I know it's cold And it's toward the end of my flight but I will do a full throttle pass here And you know it's really a performance
Airplane too it's it's really fun it's a Mix between sporty and 3D it's really About The Best of Both Worlds more on The 3D side of things Um and I think I think a lot of people this could be Some people could actually be their First plane I wouldn't recommend it a Lot of people could be their second or Third plane and if you own more than two Or three planes I think you owe it to Yourself to add this to your collection Look at that knife edge is so like you Can you could Loop a knife edge you just Have your Telemetry set really high or Something Why because it's been going off since You were like a minute I tend to ignore It a little more and if I Full Throttle Blast like right here half throttle it's Not going to but watch Full Throttle It's gonna go off just because it's so Cold yeah so batteries tend to do that More in the winter so I could land it I Could land it it's about time uh I have Done a hover catch on this on a previous Video and I've done hand launching but I Think I'm just gonna go hopefully for a Nice smoothish landing this one's hard To do it's hard because that landing Gear it's really just there mainly for Looks and it gets your plane down I'll Take it I love the erratics it's hard to Fly in the cold like this especially
Going from like War Birds the flywar Bird or warbird-esque style plane and Then you know fly this it's hard to jump Between this and other planes but Fun and if I can make it look that good Think of what you could do even after All that and in this crazy cold I'm Sitting at 3.89 Volts for just say 3.9 Volts per cell that's really high I Didn't need to land I probably could Have flown for at least another couple Minutes so there you have the erratics I Think that's maybe my fourth flight any Calm morning or evening or calm day we Gap I jump on flying this I didn't really Plan on flying this but I looked at the Weather and I said this is a good chance I know it's cold my fingers are turning Red it's so calm today it was worth it It's just really fun to fly and Abby you Flew it too it's very easy to fly it's Awesome yes I think it'd be really cool For us to fly to these together and We'll have to maybe because they're so Slow we could maybe do a little like low Formation flying yeah such high hopes I Could chase you you do whatever you want You decide to Loop it or roll it I'll Follow suit okay will be the best Formation at Radix flyers in the world They're fun we'll have a link to the Description box below these things are So hot that that first day they came out
They sold out and then another shipment Came in a couple weeks later and I think They got caught up a little bit but they Are amazing it absolutely deserves your Time and attention I love flying it it's One of the most fun things I own on my Fleet right now we did a top five Airplane video of the Year this came out Like the day after we did that video it Deserves to be in the top five of the Last things I've flown in the last 365 Days it's amazing link to the Description box below Battery that we fly on and everything is All linked down there using that link Does help to support our Channel and our Family and guys uh while you're looking At Batteries and Things and new Airplanes I I want to highly encourage You fly with the academy model Aeronautics a plane like this you're Probably not going to do much damage to Anything or anyone if you hit them but Bigger things and faster things it does Happen and you could do a little damage To something like this but not much but You should fly with the Academy of model Aeronautics for half the price of this Airplane you can be insured for an Entire year get a nice Magazine Subscription it's really a no-brainer Absolutely a no-brainer if the insurance Costs five six hundred a year we could Talk about it but it doesn't it's about
