York Comic Con this is the Eagle Moss booth they do things a hero collector
we've been a big fan of their diecast starships but this is something new that
Stephanie is the first time years are showing this model yes in person so
we're launching it here at comic-con this is our Ghostbusters build up so
basically what it is it's a 1/8 scale diecast model of the actual Exxon Mobil
1 from ghostbusters and you build it up basically over time
oh so with everything you basically get a set of model cars like this and
includes everything you you need to sort of build it up and include step-by-step
instructions all the parts come painted afraid you don't have to do anything
together you don't have to pay anything everything basically just snaps together
we give you all the tools you need and four snaps or screws so you have
everything that you need step-by-step instructions so you don't have to
necessarily be like an expert model builder to build this up yeah that's
awesome I love that it's boats up but and you're also using real hardware so
you're not just gluing something like those grates over it is real tiny screws
this is a prototype of it serious about going to production he talked about the
materials are being used sample of what the quality of the build
will look like so right here we have it it's gonna be diecast metal mmm so if
you want to take a feel yeah Oh solid weight – oh very cool
and that's good representative of the entire kit yeah so the entire kit is
gonna be made out of it then it's gonna have real working lights it's gonna have
a real working siren that will actually sound it's gonna have actual windows
they roll up and down that is so cool and it's even like on the inside it's
super detailed you can pull this up pull this down yeah yeah Oh gorgeous and it
is a week-by-week month-by-month something like this that's
representative of one of the issues so this is basically one of the issues you
get around four of these a month um it's about 1090 issues – you're looking at
about $45 a month for about two years so 24 months or 140 issues or so will be
the complete are you gonna offer a version where people can just buy all 24
months yes eventually we will be offering a version where you can sort of
blow it up so you can get everything I want so if you want to build it up fast
and you're the faster you're gonna have the option to do that as well but it is
technically like a magazine subscription so there's gonna be a magazine that
comes along with it so every magazine includes two step-by-step instructions
but it also includes like fun facts from the movies and includes articles and
includes like never before or like you know no this is photos at bucks behind
scene photos so it's really cool you've been working on this for a long time
there in previous build up subscription series that you put out before – that's
right so we've also done the DeLorean star from Back to the Future which
actually it's like very similar to this it has like same sort of diecast parts
real working lights flux capacitor so it's very detailed very sort of this is
sort of an exact replica of that gonna be from the movie so you're gonna get
the exact one that you know they're basically from the Ghostbusters movie I
mean not only does that look gorgeous I think the most fun is that it's gonna be
something people can put together exactly I mean I think that that's sort
of like the best part about it is actually you know spending this time and
being able to like at the end of that have this
an accomplishment it's really cool to see this in person when did the issue
start shipping so they start in January but people can come and they can
pre-order at the Comic Con show they can sign up they'll get the first issue the
magazine a collector's guide a teacher and a pen offer a dollar 95 oh we would
