January 2021 Model Kit New Arrivals Part 1 | New from Meng, Sword, Aoshima and More!

Morning all okay Thursday morning so we're
going to show you some new things we're going to   go through a number of them so well and i'm also
going to open a box up to show you what we've got   so what it looks like so first up let's start with
the one i want to show you this is the new Meng   Ford GT40 66 model this is not the Trumpeter kit
this is a completely new kit this is 12th scale   same as the Trumpeter kit but as i said it is
not the same kit lots of detail lots of pretty   setups for it you can do some nice markings for
it paints they now list on the side of the box   for you and that's the AK range again nice little
setup for the thing let's have a quick look in it   so lots and lots of parts lots and lots of
pre-colored parts the blacks this is the body   so it comes in all the different sections so
you can open up chassis which is quite nice   quite big what else you got so the clear
parts nicely bagged up clear parts they look   nice and clear too so they're
really good rubber tyres   rubber there's a frame there that's another
part of the undercarriage what have we got here   oh screwdriver so obviously there's a whole lot
of screws that you'll need to put it together   as well so that's in there let me see okay
instructions all sealed up so i won't open them up   and the decals are probably in that bag as well
so it's quite a it's almost a little manual so   that should be quite quite nice looks good the
reviews i've read so far have been quite positive   as yet i haven't actually seen a full build review
yet so this is in stock it should be in the stores   by today or tomorrow at the latest so come
in and have a look at it it's really nice now   also a few other bits and pieces we've
got also from ming this is the next   Mustang that they've done this is this series
this is like a pre-built i'm not pre-built   click together Mustang there's there's lots
of big pins so if it's you're looking for a   beginner kit or a kid to have a go at this
is quite a nice kit to do good choices of   markings Missouri Yamata plus there's another
one on there as well so that's quite good   also from Meng this is the next in the 700 scale
ships this is Enterprise CB6 this is the 1942   version i think it is yeah it's a 1942 version
it's not the Night Fighter again nice kit these   have been quite well received all sorts of bagged
parts obviously so they can do different things   nice big flight deck so that looks quite
good stand to put it on so yeah nice kit   if you're looking for another different
Enterprise that's quite good as well   from IBG now we're getting a whole bunch of IBG
coming through shortly and there's more to come   this is the auto Balina Italian auto Balina
auto cannon sorry this is the one with the   vehicle with the cannon mounted on the back of
it so it's a fairly big unit this is 35th scale   so for those looking for the sort of Italian
war type stuff this is quite quite nice this   also will be in the stores in the next few days
from Sword this is the next in this series of   48 scale Italian aircraft this is the Reggiani
20201 Falcon 2.

This is not this is closer to   early limited run stuff so you need to have a
little bit of modelling skills to be able to   do this one together but Sword is getting better
and better and better the plastic is a little bit   glossy so you have to take your time with it
and your surfaces need to be cleaned up but   again the review i've read of this recently
was that the kit is quite quite nice from   Aoshima we've just had a shipment in from
Aoshima this is just one of the ones i've   selected out of the group this is the Mitsubishi
Lancer Turbo again along the lines of the normal   what you expect from Aoshima Crystal clear
parts nice undercut nice little body shell   things like that so that's rubber wheels
all the rest of it so again nice kit from   Aoshima and i believe this year they've got
plans for quite a few new bits and pieces so   keep an eye out for them and last from this for
this group this is from Vellum and this is the   Twin Pioneer but it's Australian because it's
the it's what they call the Sun Sunbird or Sun   or Air Pacific something so it so it's the
Australian ones that used to fly out of   Queensland into the islands and places like
that it comes with the markings as you can see   so if you've already built one of their Pioneers
you know what to expect but if you haven't and   you want to do one this might be the one
to do especially for our civil modelers so   that's pretty cool so for the moment that's all
i've got for you today we'll talk to you further   as we get more and more new stuff i will tell
you there is a lot of stuff coming so keep an   eye out for it and also if you're not signed up
to our newsletter sign up to the newsletter and   that'll keep you informed of all the new releases
and things that are coming i've got to tell you if   it's the year that you thought you might just go
through the stack and get rid of some models or   build some models and you know not risk redo bad
news for you is there's a lot a lot of new stuff   coming and some of it's going to be really
important to Australia so keep an eye on our   newsletter keep an eye on our website have a great
day and i'll talk to you soon see you then bye
