Hi everyone welcome to my channel and welcome to my world it's wayne's world i have a big smile on my face building a leopard tank now a few weeks ago i did give a quick introduction to what the leopard tank is all about content so let me show you the tank leopard 2 was a main battle tank developed for west germany in the 1970's army tank first entered service in 1979 this is the 2a6 model it has a 120mm smoothbore gun with a longer barrel to get more ammunition High Velocity Carries a total of 42 rounds, 15 of which are ready for use and the rest are stored in the front of the hull Secondary elements consist of two 7.62mm machine guns Tanks are fitted with coolers Four, which are the commander gunner loader and drivers they're currently active in germany canada finnish greece and portugal s available for gorham but again i'll put a link at the bottom where you can buy it yourself if you've ordered from agora models before you can buy it at Use it for 12 months or 24 months use agora advantage club and you also get agora pledge all details are listed on agora model website when you visit there again you can use some other built by agora model The item is the terminator super snake cobra oh look they're everywhere the bismarck is currently out there because it's too big to store here and I'm excited to add to that collection by doing the leopard tank here let's We show you what we got in the first pack, here's the manual we're going to make, you can see it's now a 116 scale model , it's 68.5 cm from the rear of the tank all the way to the front of the turret or 27 inches tall 19.5 cm or sev half an inch and then 23.5 cm or 9 inches wide, now I can't see how much it weighs, but a lot of it is metal and you'll see it in some of the parts we do now, um, so this Going to be a really heavy old stuff now remember that's the agora advantage club I just detailed earlier and you'll see all of this on the site too but this opens up an amazing poster not too sure where I'm still Going to put this, but can you believe this is what we're building? This is going to be great so I'll just go through the parts quickly and then we'll talk about what we're actually doing so part one is basically the turret we have some metal parts and screws here in part two you can watch it here Now we're building it and I love this theme you have behind the cards here but these are all on the third card this will blow your mind look at this look that's one hell of a piece it's huge and it's heavy for me Guess that's all metal but I haven't opened it yet so this is the third pack and then we get the fourth part and here's some more armor and then we have the fifth part which is where we're going to start putting Where the smaller details are in part six there's more armor and some smaller details part seven looks like that and finally in the first pack we do get eight parts which is No.
As you can see I've lost my heritage and I can't get a camo shirt which is the best I've done in a camo show but you'll be glad to know I've got some nice camo pants on, So I'm wearing the part today and when we build this that's exactly what we're going to do now so without further ado let's get started so in phase 1 we're going to be doing the main gun barra and the loader hatch so Let's get this unpacked and before we go on we definitely need to talk about the parts it's heavy because you can see this is m etal looks absolutely amazing the rest of the parts are here they're making the hatch Into plastic but I can't believe we have a metal core throughout the turret now with this build you get a few packs of screws like all the other builds we do, as you can see all the screws are labeled, So we have ap screws in this, we have uh am screws, we have bp screws now even though we do have all these parts for this we just need these two parts here and here all we have to do is put this plastic part put on top of this part and guess what's going to be done at that stage and then stage two we got uh the rear of the main gun we have the commander hatch we're going to open this there's a lot of Stuff so we're going to put that aside now we're going to start working on the turret as you can see on this end of the turret we have a screw in this bag we do get an extension it's simple, We're just going to sc put it back together here so we've got a complete thing so you now know the turret is basically about 30 31 and a half centimeters but it looks like we can put that aside because now we To work on the hatch this is what it looks like what we're going to do is turn it upside down and in this part we get a clear part here and it's going to go over the top of the lug there and it's going to snug snug like that put it in because It's on the lugs it actually holds itself without a problem we want everything to be in one place we're going to put it on top now this is what the top looks like it fits right into these lugs the top of the so it's going to be like four cp screws holding it in place so i've got that and i just uh zoomed in on the top camera because now we're not working on the turret and it's kind of a bad job we can uh zoom in One point I still can't believe the size of that turret and then these turrets are here and finally there's only one on the other side and it glues all these parts together so now it looks like this now we have this definite part We're actually putting in these slots you can see here so we want to line it up where the slots are so basically it's going to go this way and insert like that and we're going to line it up again Holds in place but we don't need to screw it into it just push it through the points and don't actually take it out it fits perfectly we can actually put it on the side because we're going to be on the hatch now Works though your hatch might have a spring on it we don't want that so we're going to make sure that's removed because what we're going to do if we're going to take this hatch we're going to put it where we can See the hole here and put it through both sides of there so it's perfectly flush there like it should be from this side and then we'll put the spring on top and it'll all go through A flange screw holds it in place it's a dp screw so I got it here and that's where you have the chance to get this spring closed in every direction but we'll tighten it with this best start really slow , so it can start cutting the threads there and then when you get it screw it all the way in and when it goes all the way in it should look like that the spring can't go up now it holds it in place , so it actually puts some tension on it now , so when we push it up , you can see it's going to spring back up again like that, but that's all there is to do in that stage now stage three look It's the size let's take this out and have an l look at this I don't think there's going to be much to do with this but I could be wrong because it's just a whole huge piece of metal we really need Take some time to see what the decals look like I'm actually going to show you on this camera look absolutely amazing love we're going to do something we're actually going to turn this thing upside down because we're going to Install what we just did here to create the hatch to the other side of this car so easy it's going to go into this part of here so the springs will come out of this side like that and then we should be able to see all The other holes fit here like this so it fits right in there now we make sure Really needs to hold it in place it's held in place by the holes we have around the side here they are all cp screws now even though it looks like we're going into metal it's not because that part is actually s screwed in is plastic that's why You have cp instead of a letter that ends in m put this side on make sure they're nice and tight number 3 here we start this is the last one here number 4 now we'v have another hatch and it looks like we There's two sides we want to stand up because that's going to go into this part now put it down here we're going to screw it in through the hole that we can see on the top so I'm going to line that hole up There and secured with an ap screw so we only have access to these three stages we already have two hatches on the vehicle which is crazy but we go in and now look at what it looks like from the other side Opens like that and then obviously when this one opens it opens like that and the spring system on it just pulls it off like you can see now w I have grills or protective plates and it goes over the top of this part , now the open end of it will actually be facing the back so when I line up these screw holes I'll put it in that position like this so you can see this open end like it's upside down we're going to Use the bp screws to hold it in place this one's going to take three this is the first the second that's the third so now it's looking really nice and finally the part we just made in the first pack will Go through the hole here like this slide a little push to get it in but it's supposed to just sit there so we have a window there like it's screwed in and we Now actually going to get into the metal so I'll for that reason I'll put it in a little oil and we'll get these n this is the first and finally a little oil and this is the second that does all the work and then we can finish that stage ' there's the left front part of the turret and then we also have the start of the rails so you can see all the rails are there and we can put that aside for a while now this part is plastic but Following the tech and the camouflage pattern that we have on the die cast top again we're going to attach it to that so I'm going to take it over again and it's not hard to see where it's going to follow the shape we have there so it can go on Going down my fingers are down there just to give some support to these when I screw it in it's the second third here the middle fourth here and finally the fifth in the back so maybe now The best side camera looks like that and we can put that aside because we're going to start working on the track now as you can imagine the track takes up quite a bit of area on the tank so whatever we do now what, We'll probably have to go through this build mirroring a lot of times now this is one of the tracks and that's what it looks like metal just to let you know it's also heavy what we're going to do is place a link first so that's the link here so put it Placed on a flat surface this will go into this track as it is now and this side is slightly slanted when I put this side in and this side is flat can get some help as the tracks do have very few spots right here , to make sure they're always there, and then we've got these pins here, and now when we put this pin in, we're going to make sure it looks like this, so the flat edge here points to the upright part there, They just simply go to the end like this and we need to align that pin in the center and I think I've done it first I can't believe I've done it until it comes out the other side and has the same shape on the other end Little tab to keep it in so I'm going to push it in and show you what this looks like [music ] when it comes out it should look like that wow so we've done two tracks and we're going to Doing the third one , so showing you again what we're going to take with a little oval in the middle we're going to deliver one of the tracks and then line up the points again so you'll know you're on the right track and put all the Push things together so that it's round like before and we put it in as well now I won't lie to you you need patience you need lots and lots of patience when you do this but you need to make sure they It's all round the exact same way so we're going to put a cap on this side again and now this is metal so there's a little bit of a tack tool to help knock it in so far that's probably what we'll have to do The hardest thing but it's not too bad and it's not too bad now they do want us to put another one in here and it 's exactly the same as we did before but pretty much all we have to do is keep these Other parts spare as we 'll need them later so st 5 years old our turret is front left so I took all those parts out we do need this bracket and it looks like we'll be putting it in place position or right on this side so this will go this way check the fit first because there are two pieces that look the same as this but it looks good we're going to fix it with fp screws so on this side One and then only one on the other side now this bracket needs to be like this so you know this bracket is metal it's going to fit on top of these parts it's going to be held in place with bp screws so we have two that can go in the One , the second one, nice and tight , we can put it aside because we're going g Now work on that detail , like we just did the last one we're going to put another rail on top again just check the fit and see what fits best is it has a little notch to help you when we put them in so it It fits flat there so it's going around that direction again with the fp screw and then we 're there and that's the second rail there and then it's easy we're going to attach this part here This part so it goes over the top like this and it's going to fit between the brackets that we have here and then we have these little hinges just to keep it in place and the hinges keep turning and kinda like oops got it the right way a little bit Like this with the flat side up they're going to hold on with gp screws these are really small so one side does the same thing the other side has one and finally just one on the bottom as you can see the joint moves really well so This pointed part now brings the die cast top over again and we just push these lugs or these holes into the holes here and we can see here that they're going to be pretty snug so it's going to take a little bit of effort but We need to push them all the way in so it fits perfectly all you have to do then take some bp screws there are two screw holes here apply it to the position the sides can now be opened and closed but that's where the All the things to do in that stage Now in stage six we've got the turret right run section and we also have some more tracks I just saw a cool looking gun in there so like last time we Will be doing this section here we're going to put it where it is on the tank like last time you can see it's just going to match the whole cut out there so this will fit li turn it over and we're going to use ep screws Hold it down, again, it takes five, so here's one over here, do you see the calm before the storm? The first stage we only had that one thing to do and now it looks like each stage is going on for a long time and we put all of this together so you have a total sense of security, not two more screws, This is the last one on this side so now it looks like this now we have another shield that will go over the top into this section and it's basically just a push and we do have some little tabs here, sort of like we Did Bismarck so we'll just put two in and then push the side of the third in and you should hear it snap in like this so when you look underneath you'll see all these tabs are In place but it should look like that and then we can put it aside for now because using we'll be working on another track so this is the last time we're going to make sure it's the right way so point up, Then we're going to put it on exactly the same way as all the other rails are here too make sure you glue them together take a pin and make sure it 's the same as all the other rails coming in from this side and slide it all the way, So we've got that pin, and then we're going to take one of the sides here again, make sure it 's the same way as all the other sides that we lined up, and then just use the little mace to hit that home that you see , I used the duckbills but we used four of them we just had to repeat the process with the other two now what i notice is they only want us to make him each batch is free as you can see I haven't done this yet so what I'm going to do is link all of these together but you just want to make them in bulk for free but they look good so far come with me but I guess we'll have to do this for the whole lot anyway , again making sure each one is exactly the same, so all the points are in the same place, and all of these are the same along the sides , but that's all there is to completing that stage, so we'll now start with a The way the left part did to do the turret front right part, in fact it's going to be the exact same way so we're going to put one of these in there again just to make sure I get the right one and say they have the little nick, This will help you line up where one goes one like this goes in with one fp screw this is a second make sure it's tight and then once again we're going to put the hinges on make sure we put it the right way It's going to go around the top of these pieces in this way, like this, and this is going to hold the first one with the bp screw , and this is the second one , so once that's set aside because we're going to do things and we Doing the exact same thing with this line them up so we know which ones go in and such a fp screw on these rails again like this definitely make sure you put the right side in because that's pretty tricky uh ,but I We go in like this and then we're going to put this part on this part like here with these brackets and put it in again we're going to put it in with cp screws I say cp I mean gp these are Small these are so I'll I put the first one in like the second one the thicker end of this hinge should be pointing towards the middle we have one here for the other side it's going to be there Continuing with number one and number two so again just checking that we have the hinge movement because it works perfectly to bring the top of the tank over again like we did last time and that's basically to fit this part, don't Afraid to give it some strength so one or two you'll hear all sorts of squeaks when you do that and three you want it to be perfectly flush there and then like the other side we 'll put two bp screws to fully secure the sides and that's it so now we have two sides and you can see they're pretty cool but that 's all there is to do at that stage and in the last stage we'll be working on the back part of the turret and More tracks, as I said, I'd be surprised if we didn't have a ton of tracks to do in each section , so put those tracks aside because what we're going to do is put the later sections where we've been On the main part of the work here this will be held with bm screws put them here these are pretty thick bm yes I have to say I'm going to put them in a bit of oil this is the first one nice and tight this It's the second and then finally this is the third we went and now it looks like looking at that just for size so you know you're looking at 30 almost 40 centimeters right in that part now we have a machine gun here they don't have Asked us to install so now I'm going to keep one side because that's what we're going to do now even though I put all the tracks together last time we're going to build three track sections ourselves so look at the parts I don't know if it's part of the other issue Are spares but I'm going to put them together obviously we just need to match what we're doing there so in a similar tone I'm going to put one of these in the middle and provide one next to it to make sure it's completely Correct make sure the pins and ends are flat towards the parts feed it here one and two this is the hardest bit I have to say just make it not go into the end of the track but let it go through the end of the Pin and see what I've gotten through I rarely do this the first time and I have to say it's getting lighter again take your time because if you're like me and you don't have any patience for this then you're going to have It's been like this for a long time and we keep going like this and then we 're going to attack again anyway but you might just want to put a little cloth on it cause you hit it on me that hand I hope it wears well I Don't want it to be something you know, neat and clean, It's a tank after all and it needs to have a lot of dirt and marks, so here we go, that's the one, and again I'll do the one next to it, and then we're done, and that's the three we do have spares for, But eventually obviously that's going to go in there and we're going to hook them up so we have a whole full metal chain going through the whole thing but that's all there is to doing that stage, that's all there is to doing that bag if I put all of our Doing everything brought over so we finished the track there we finished this huge turret and then obviously we had machine guns that we haven't put on and this huge top but that's what you get in the first Get everything in the package and I'm sure you'll agree it's awesome it's all about the track one I tell you the track is absolutely amazing just the weight of this sphere feels right here it feels trou ble is the thread them Will be a pain so but I'm sure I'll end up getting faster the more we do the better the easier it will be for us to find it but I you'll definitely agree it's an absolutely fantastic build it's looking at us All the parts you have here if you want to get it yourself just pack one up again put the link here to get the gore model and you can get this all the way from where I started , um, to the end we Will be doing a remote shoot, anyway, this will blow my mind, listen I really hope you like that video, if you haven't subscribed remember to give me a like and please subscribe and take care [music ] [music] you
