Buying a chassis from ebay… at night | PedalBox Episode 1 | Kit Car Project

hi instead of working on any of these projects here we've gone and bought something new because that's just the kind of stupid thing we do so we run away until we got stuck together stationary looking thing tiny little catering thing it has no engine no driveline no wheels no suspension no seats two steering wheels was there anything that like you're optimistic for because I know said there's a box of bit Oh is there anything that we're like yeah you know that but that might be good you know there might be there is a diff okay but I don't know what type of diff it is cuz it doesn't say nah clue it's also not complete there's a couple of shafts with it but I don't know if they go with the diff or not again I would presume so but you never know let's go into this be a bit pessimistic let's assume you're only getting the chassis faithfully so assuming we're getting a C and a sports center section some escort hubs you know some escort components it's not a big deal it would be pretty tight in yeah we'd have a path to follow again without you but we'd essentially just be filling in the bits of the jigsaw the left boy if we discount everything and assume that nothing is using yeah we have a totally open entrance we're not how far away engine-wise I haven't got a great number of thoughts because it's a kind of wide open Rover v8 or like a lexus lexus makes a glove to put a BMW v8 in it just because I saw some things it was amazing but it's huge all right so we'll go straight farid fire list yap a common engines for these things rover the eights yeah Ford various Ford fault blocks Toyota logical engines go back 20 volt could be good 20 valve quite entertaining for factory boost there is there is a halfway decent five cylinder option that I think could work other minimum all the way but that's the only five I can imagine working be a puppy straight six the little one to point to so now we have a sassy are we doing they have a box of miscellaneous parts now we just need to get it home yeah now we have a project and other projects another project that's exactly what we needed to like a hole in the head which is in all their glory bright yellow there's a nice little Caterham style chassis so we kind of work out what engine goes in it suspension goes on it and how we're gonna stop it so we've got to figure out suspension on the front it looks like we've set up pretty well for a nice double wishbone setups well I've boiled overs down the middle double wishbones up front we've got steering and pedal box hookups on the front on the foot well there on the rear it looks like the Sun well for a parallel for loop which would mean a live axle across the back depth and sent a prop shaft through to whatever we put in the front of it enough to figure out some relevant parts but I
