It's RC jet speed week here on the RC Sailors and I am here with our third Installment this is the Habu SS this is A 70 millimeter EDF jet and today I'm Going to fly it on 6s power we're gonna Put our GPS speed meter inside and clock This to see how fast it can go I don't Know when you guys will be seeing this Because we're trying to get ahead for The birth of this little guy Um so it's been a while as of time of Filming since I have flown so why not Put a success generator But this has safe on it so I'm gonna Start in safe get used to flying again And then hopefully I feel confident Enough to take it out of space and get Some fast flybys for you so without Further Ado let's go I'm excited I I'm pumped I'm sure you're A little nervous but you got this safe Is on we put it right down the runway so She's gone talk me through I can't Remember which way is up and which one Well remember what caffeine feels like That's what this is about this is a Caffeine supplement you got this All right ready I'm ready Nice job Abby guys this isn't just Abby Getting back out here flying for you she Is being straight up a part of speed Week No you have not no you haven't all right I'm gonna try to take down I am in safe
You take it down and I'm going to do a Full throttle plaster okay you got it Try to push it down during this a little Bit you got it you got it Full Throttle Baby That's awesome It's screaming more than the other two Well it's because you're kind of a Little bit high up a little bit far out But it's not too bad if you could get it A little closer that'd be nice but Listen to that she's screaming it guys That's Full Throttle for you I'll try I'll try to get a lower on this one and Then I'll try to take it out of safe I'm A bit nervous that's okay here's the go Ahead the beauty about speed is it's Flying just as fast up there as it would Be down here so you're good [Applause] She's trying to get a lower for us there You go good job Everything looks faster though when I Film I don't get to watch how fast jets Go in real life very often most of the Time nine times out of ten if not more Abby is staring at a little two inch Screen when she's watching planes I base It on how I have to swing there is a Trick at the end of the runway now no It's been it's been down there you're Fine get it on the street and then yes I'm gonna that's Full Throttle oh my God Easy Mama easy you gonna like roll it
Maybe okay well you're flying out of Safe remember safe is not restricting Your speed She just wanted to say she did a Full Throttle pass out of safe I think Are you are you out of safe Yeah Well you did a bank I would say oh Leon safe you guys I know that I know That I'm just proud of you you the other Ones you were trying to stay consistent With loops and stuff no no no no no You're good about that today I'll tell Them oh gosh no I'm not okay you're fine You're fine you're fine It's okay my handy dandy Valiant out It's okay you're killing it you are Killing it I am just going to staying Safe We're clear That's good Full Throttle you nailed it Just get the approach and if remember if You have to come around again that's Totally fine the goal for this jet Because you don't have flaps or anything To help slow you down other than gravity In the ground is to uh Bring it far down as far as you can zero Throttle halfway through that bank and You're nosing down right over the runway Which is fantastic so you're dropping Dropping dropping as far down as she can And she's going to let kind of gravity Bleed that speed off for her get it
Closer to the runway and don't touch Those wheels down until you have to Oh yeah like a magnet That's my stinking awesome wife right There yes it was oh take a little Victory lap there Abby give us a bow Amazing yeah Good okay oh here oh yeah we're speed Test let's see how fast we went All right Abby let's see Point of this yeah let's see how Okay my guess it's got to be faster than What we flew it's 6s so I'm thinking It's actually surprising I personally Would have probably guessed way lower Okay obviously I would have guessed Higher than the Habu 50. so I probably Would have guessed like 80. I'm thinking I was thinking 80 85. that's really Honestly what I was thinking oh yeah wow Yeah it hit 90. oh it's almost flew 100 Miles an hour your viper success we did A speed test way back in the day on that And I believe that went over 100 miles An hour yeah like one one so I have Flown over 100 miles an hour but this is 90 miles per hour that's amazing for Anybody looking into just a solid 6s jet That has amazing safe Tech I'm sorry I Did not fly good you did fine today it Was so bad oh I'm so sensitive you need To put extra or something in there for Me I could do that I get a little touchy On my sticks but that was fun and I'm so
