This is 1:16 Mario Kart 7 and I'm gonna
make it faster! That's gonna be pretty fast. It's not brand new. It's a used one. It comes with a remote charger battery cone and manuals The Box said it can do 13 miles/ hour. We're gonna test that This one's top speed is 7 miles/hour. (Around 11 km/hr) Probably because it's a used one. The battery is pretty old.
Sa-Wad-Dee Khrab.
Hello everyone. My name is Mackey. And this is another episode of RC Modify. I'm gonna disassemble it. Okay. That was a lot of screws. Take all the electronics out. Take pictures along the way, so you know how to put everything back. I'm pretty much got everything disassembled. I'm replacing this big old servo with the new small one. I got the servo, Two M2 x 8mm screws 3D printed parts And one M2.5 x 10mm screw. I trimmed these little pieces off a little bit to make some room. I'll be using this transmitter and receiver
that I have laying around. It's ready to be installed. The steering is done. Let's see if it's gonna work. It works. Ahh… it worked… oh. We're moving on to the motor. This is the old and slow motor. I got a 35m ESC 2435, 4800 KV brushless motor. The shaft on the new motor is a little bit too long, so I have to trim it off. I'm going to be using this pinion gear. It's probably not gonna fit right but I'll make it work.
Now all I gotta do is put the pinion gear on the motor. Opening up the screw hole
so it can be adjustable a little bit. Put everything back on. Put some grease on it. It's done. I'm putting things back on real quick. Then we'll get to the wiring. Saki just went inside the box by himself. You're not a Mario Kart… Saki 😉 I'm using a 2s, 7.4V battery.
It's got a sound to it too. It's going backward so I'm gonna reverse it, by switching the positive and negative on the motor side. Now it's going forward. What? Meow 🙂 It's super loud. Channel 1 is steering. Channel 2 is going forward and backward. I'm gonna cut some holes on the cover for ventilation. I might as well put some grills on it too. Oh no. I think I broke it already. The pinion fell off. I have to make a cut for the pinion screw, so that it stays in place. We ran into a problem and the motor broke.
( Extra cutting on the motor shaft is a bad idea ) Fail x Modify
( Extra cutting on the motor shaft is a bad idea ) New ESC This one is 35A ESC. New motor, 3300 KV. Just gotta trim this off. That's gonna be pretty fast! This build is looking too simple, so I'm gonna add under glow. That's gonna make it 10 times better! I'm just gonna get the power source from the receiver. Drill a hole on the bottom here to get the wire out.
The LED strip will be under the chassis. I got it all wired up. Aluminum fiberglass tape. Just tape some wires down. I'm gonna put everything back on. It will be done in… It's done! Need for speed underground right here 🙂 It's time for a speed test again! 16 miles an hour. (Around 25 km/hr ) It's just a little bit faster. Mario needs to go faster! 60A ESC 6100 KV brushless motor 3s, 11.1V battery It's ready! 35 miles an hour.
( Around 56 km/hr ) It pops a wheelie. 35 miles an hour. That's gotta be a world record right there ;D Whoa There you have it. I hope you enjoy it and find this helpful. Thank you and have a nice day. Sa-Wad-Dee Khrab..
