James Bond šŸ“½ Submarineāš“Lotus Esprit 1/24 scale car from Fujimi 0āƒ£9āƒ£1āƒ£9āƒ£2āƒ£1āƒ£ FULL BUILD of Wet Nellie

Hello everyone ! What you can see right now isĀ
the part of the movie with sir Roger MooreĀ Ā  and Barbara Beck "The spy who loved me" fromĀ 1977. Today's episode will be about BondĀ Ā  car submarine which was built based on lotusĀ
Esprit S1. What is quite interesting this underwaterĀ Ā  vehicle literally exists and is able to dive andĀ
climb with divers in it. "Wet Nelly" as this is howĀ Ā  it was called, was placed in the leased storageĀ
and upon complention of filming after 10 yearsĀ Ā  no one claimed the contents so it was placed onĀ
auction. The buyer paid less then 100$ for theĀ Ā  unit without knowing what is inside the storageĀ
locker the new owner had exterior restored and theĀ Ā  submarine was again put up for auction as a bondĀ
car in 2013.

It was bought for 550 000 pounds byĀ Ā  Elon Musk who planned to convert it into theĀ
functional car submarine from the film MuskĀ Ā  stated that he plans to use tesla motors electricĀ
drivetrain in making his conversion a realityĀ Ā  i'm quite curious when his vision becomesĀ
true but for now let's focus on the model kitĀ Ā  it is a gift from my friend to challenge me a bitĀ
with something different than cars and i guessĀ Ā  he managed Fujimi Bond submarine car can be built withĀ
different setups with headlights opened or closedĀ Ā  and with or without some guns at the rear.

It isĀ
quite easy to build because if you want to takeĀ Ā  it easy way you can just focus on the exterior asĀ
interior is not visible at all. I decided to primeĀ Ā  it with white and then go with white based colorĀ
it does do the job but it is quite difficult asĀ Ā  you paint white on white next time i will go withĀ
grey and white primer and then the base coat.

ThereĀ Ā  are a couple of things that i would do better nextĀ
time but i treat them as lessons learned thanksĀ Ā  a lot for listening to this long introductionĀ
enjoy the video and have a wonderful day! cheers!.
