What a roller coaster of emotions this Plane has been I'll tell you what when We did that Maiden video the comments That came in had me a nervous wreck for Five or six days it was awful the the The Traxxas people decided they wanted To hate on airplanes for a minute and They found our video and they left their Comments duh but we're back to have some Fun today I kid mostly this is a very Great new airplane from FMS it comes in Ready to fly Plug and Play It's got Lights flaps and flight stabilization Today's video We're Gonna Fly for Fun The ready to fly version and I think After this flight if I ever do fly this On the channel again I hope to I might Just take the ready to fly setup and and Bind it to my Spectrum Radio or Something because this plane deserves a Nice radio upgrade well I'm excited to Fly so let's put it in the air and have Some fun isn't that just such a good Looking airplane I really like this Thing it has black and white so Traditionally Abby and I like things That have a bit more pop to them but if You're gonna have that cool look black And gray and white is a really good way To go remember that black plane we had Though it was like It's like an fpv one or fpv capable it Was all black maybe it looks really cool A little touch of right Rudder and then
Oh wait holy mackerel I don't know A little too fast there you do you do on This plane Need Just a Touch of right Rudder Down down Better now when I talk about Traxxas People guys I'm mostly kidding but when If it is a Traxxas fan that comes out to Hate on us it's the exclusive Traxxas Fan the guy that will literally only fly Or drive Traxxas and uh you know they Wouldn't think of touching anything if It didn't have that Traxxas sticker on It this plane is really fun to fly it I think the only reason it's being held Back right now and I talked about this In the like second main we'll say is the Elevator is just a little bit sensitive And so it makes it hard to have these Smooth flybys in front of the camera Because you have that just little Sensitive twitchiness But other than that it is great even as The ready to fly setup so if you wanted To really make this thing shine you Would bind it up to a hobby grade radio I'll bet we could do a full point loop On this it's climb rate is nice let's See if we can do it one two three Four yeah that's nice look at that Shadow on the hillside back there that's Cool like chasing it You only get that a certain time for the Day get it this way too yes like a knife
Edge the shadow on the hillside wow That's cool right below it can you get That yeah I got it yeah right at the top I could do it again maybe I got it it's Fine it doesn't look that great on Camera it's cool So one thing I think is really cool About this plane is the Tiny Box it Comes in this is a big airplane for the Box size they the the engineers that Designed the Box are geniuses the Fuselage comes in two pieces and it's Bolted together really well you're never Gonna have to worry about like Structural Integrity one other airplane Does this and I think it's the era's Trekker or that fuselage is in two Pieces that probably saves them a Fortune on shipping so that was a genius Move by the way Over oh yeah nice hammerhead beautiful I wish I was better at four point rolls Practice that was a four point roll did You see it no I did it I think I saw Maybe two of them yeah it's about 2.7 I don't know if this is the best plane To do that on I definitely could do it But not the best plane for me to Practice it on I've only got one True Flight under my belt so the wing struts On this plane look great too see those Yeah they're really nice they're held on With bolts on one end and body Clips on The other end so that's super cool makes
It easier to take them off if you needed To but this is a good sized airplane I Don't think one once it's built I don't Believe you'd ever really want to Take take any of it apart you should be Able to transport it to and from your House in the Airfield Very easily in one piece the the whole Assembly of this does a few unique Things the prop and the spinner on there There's no bolt that holds it on the Spinner actually functions as the bolt It's like a three piece spinner that was Kind of unique I'm just really impressed By everything about this plane truly Honestly that Maiden flight real first Maiden where we had a bad Servo I was so Disheartened because I was rooting for This plane to do so well we were the First people in the world to have a Video on it and I was proud of that too And so for me to come and say look ah This horrible crash happened it just Broke my heart it really did uh I wanted Nate doesn't like to crash trainer-esque Planes yeah that's that's kind of a blow To the gut there too I'm gonna try to Pull off your face All right let's see it We'll get that plane up there again Unfortunately because this is 3s power I Can't do an unlimited vertical climb if It had 4S power I think we could but Watch we'll stall here right around
There so I gotta keep keep climbing it Takes a little longer we're gonna do the Maneuver again we'll just kind of commit To it It's almost an inverted flat spin here With power maybe we could Try that under power next time and I'll Try to do a little closer to us I did that I was probably over the like Back there that was so far away That's a good looking plane though you Guys and it's flying really good I'm Getting a little bit used to the Sensitive elevator I would be a great trainer ask plane I Think I said it in the last video but I Wouldn't make this your very first plane I think it's just a little too sensitive Got a lot of details on this plane that Is very pretty and you could break them Maybe compared to something not as nice As this okay we're gonna do this under Some power this time once we get into it You know it just makes it go faster [Laughter] This thinking what's gonna happen When there may be some more horizontal Flat spinning than what it was doing So I don't know beautiful day to fly it Is super cold but I'm man it's just it's Nice I know I've been pretty loud but it's a Quiet airplane too [Music]
The prop is kind of like a heavier prop It's a dense plastic crop You'd probably need a specific prop to Replace this one I think I don't think a Generic prop would work because it fits In that spinner so perfectly [Music] So that might be a downside but FMS is a Big company they've been around for a Long time they're better than something Like Dynam the Dynam does okay but FMS Is a pretty strong company probably one Of the top five airplane companies right Now And Abby I'm gonna do a touch and go I Think and then maybe a landing and you Guys saw these wheels touch right there There they are Really know my exact flight time on this Yet this being my second flight with no Telemetry I didn't bring my multimeter To the Airfield so let's see we're going To land at uh we'll just do no flaps and Bring it in there's no wind Oh there we go Second flight we're already getting used To it a little bit That is a fun plane to fly I'm glad this Thing exists FMS did a fantastic job With it just lesson learned if you have A bad Servo don't fly your plane Duck there's not much else I could Actually say about this plane than what I said during the flight so I'll cut
