Model A-4E Sky Hawk – 1/48 Hobby Boss

Hi there, mates! How is quarantine going? I hope you are all safe and healthy. But take a look at what I have here. I always wanted to have this plane
in my collection. Even since I was a kid. Finally, my wish came true. There's a lot of sprues. The decals seem to be protected quite well The instructions seem to be okay. But later I found that there's
a lot of information missing. I had to guess
and look for the information
on the Internet. I'm choosing this painting pattern. Lots of rockets and bombs,
some of them not for use. I will keep them for other projects. Those decals look strange There's kind of pattern visible here.

I hope everything will look okay
on the model. Let's begin This ejection seat doesn't look very detailed. I will use some lead wire to improve it. I made seat belts from Tamiya tape. A coat of gray primer. This should be white. I put some chrome silver on the turbine. And hand-painted some details on the seat. I know it doesn't look good now, but wait for it. Everything is covered in gloss varnish. I will use this panel liner. Now cleaning with the white spirit. Decals for the cockpit. And this, to soften the decal. I expected something more detailed,
to be honest… This time I added some extra ballast
just to be sure. There is a lot of bits and pieces
in this model I prepared them off-camera. I will use this black primer Now white. I'll use a dry brush on some black parts. Olive Drab. Everything is masked
and ready for painting First interior color on clear parts. Now black primer. Let's add some color modulation. Light gray Some desert yellow And some green Now, highly diluted white
for the bottom part.

Medium gray for the top part Those parts should be red. Another mistake in the instructions. I want this blue stripe to be lighter. This white should brighten it up Tamia XF8 Flat blue. Flat black. And the gloss varnish. Now decaling. Mark Fit again. Every decal on its place
and protected with the
gloss varnish. And panel liner again. And cleaning again That's how it looks
with the satin varnish on. Time to attach those tiny parts. I will use this pigment for exhaust and guns. We can finally get rid of masks And the last detail. And that's it. It took me 32 evenings
to make this model. A little more than a month. I hope you've enjoyed this movie. See you in the next episode! Cheers!.
