Welcome to the channel. No you aren't seeing double. There are in fact two WLTOYS 124018's. Difference being. This one's brand new this one is older. So why have we brought them here other than to enjoy all of this lovely wind? And that is because when we tested this one up at
our speed run area we got 59 kilometers an hour out of it and there were some questions asked
how how's that possible set at zero hopefully start let's see what you can do come
on little car do at least a hundred so what do you reckon? 36 kph. 36 kph. So slow yeah
okay so we'll hit stop which i hit read 59 kph and you know what's impressive with
that is that they say 60 kph. this one we got between 47 kph and i believe 50 kph something
like that let me show you the internals both of them have the original motor
the original esc and they're going to be sharing the battery we're not going to
be taking too much juice out of this battery suspension is the same the rear geometry is
the same and the steering is as straight as can be so we're going to run the old one see
if we can uh get the 59 kph and then we're going to run the new one and see what's going
on jps is on the back start stop read set to zero start that's gonna
stay there i'm just gonna drive it what do you reckon let's take a gander goo stop read 53 kph.
53 kph? so where did the 59 kph? come from
right let's try again something's not right i'll go now this may have a slight aerodynamic effect or it could make it go faster i'm
not quite sure now well whoops right yes i'm doing this just to irritate colin dunk bunk 52 kph right well there you go battery
out and into the new one start let's go my finger slipped off so so sir shall we see stop read 49 kph so that's the same as what we got the
last time so is this going is the old one going slower because the surface isn't the same meaning
that this one would go faster if it was up into ali i don't know there's definitely a difference
and you'd have thought that the newer one would be better let's just do one
more quick run just to make sure yeah that's conclusive isn't it
okey dokey ladies and gents so as what some people have pointed out before
there's brush motors in these so as this one beds itself in the brushes bed themselves into
the actual shaft it could find that extra speed i'm pretty sure that could easily come up to
53 kph with just that there's no difference then is there side by side they're doing the same
speed taking consideration the new motor issue i would like to take the new one up to ali
where we got 59 kph out of this one and see if we can get 59 kph there i can't imagine for a second
that the surface is going to make that much of a difference but i've been wrong before so
