alright guys welcome back to Niko
brothers I'm Marvin Mike today's another day another build another continuation
of the Cobra that we got so last time we got a lot done we got the body off but
unfortunately we can get anything else done now this time we're gonna start
doing the wire harness we're gonna start taking it apart trying to figure out
what kit is what's on it why harness wise so a lot of progress yeah yeah for
sure we can go at it hopefully get a serial number some some kind of part
numbers on there I mean we've seen all your guys comments to a factory 5 we're
trying to reach out to them unfortunately they have a lot of lead
time issues and then nothing to do the engine so we're just still kind of you
know just waiting what to do there we're still don't know what we're gonna decide
for 500 in it put the old Raptor motor in there I'm alright so the game plan
today is basically teardown we're still gonna see what kind of damage we have
what's going on what part numbers we can get off and then see what we need to
order because we can't start building up till we know what's wrong with it so
also when you get organized guys so we got some bins and when you clean up this
mess stored away and next would be we're gonna remove the wiring harness all the
damaged parts all the fire damaged rotating motor router we'll see I don't
know I don't think so we'll see it depends if we're keeping it
or not over swapping out something else so on the fence of that I mean there's a
lot of a lot of different people have a lot of different opinions but it's fine
that's exciting there's a lot of things we can do I mean I don't know see how it
goes definitely put a lot of power in T really nice they'll be crazy
all right sounds good let's go at it okay so got the parts organized have
stored it properly because we don't wanna lose anything might take a little
bit so the next step would be to basically we've got the interior it
seats out the carpet it's burnt some spots and probably do something
different anyway so we'll go from there this cluster and everything here we got
basically take it apart whatever is damaged and see what's underneath it
let's do it all right sounds pretty easy more bolts
nice metal frame hold it down nobody'll got that off see that she
looks in pretty good condition I don't know if we're gonna reupholster it later
or something about to see it goes but yeah but there's only one bad thing
Michael you can't just the seat no that's that's
pretty much it right there yeah there's no adjustment railing or
anything it's bolted to the frame bad okay let me deal it's not like there's
much room to go back and forth anyway let's get the next one
let's do it I looks like a pastor's how do I have two bolts instead of four we
could pick that nice seat belt stuff for sure yeah we'll take out those off alright guys we got the seats up we got
a seatbelt on we got the little speakers out it's coming online nicely well of
course that's really dirty here so we gave the vacuum we're gonna vacuum it up
get this glass out of here and maybe try to lift this carpet up and keep going at
it let's go all right it's looking a lot cleaner now
it's a lot of user work a bunch of glass in your face it's nice so I'm gonna take
all this off we're just gonna keep this it's nice so we try to put it on the bin
you know keep it all together make sure get that and then just keep going at it
now we're trying take the speaker's out and try to close carpet oh yeah be just fine oh yeah little little elbow
grease picnic that's hilarious
just the cover this is the cover over a regular shift not excessive you so now
honey keep this stuff or no whose was it over yeah and this thing feels like a cow skin for
sure I'm athletic keep it authentic nice sure what's probably back in the
day – so get that classic look we got to get some of that uh epoxy the
goon squad had the new step 5 hold of that so over the 21 or something that
stuff will work great oh yeah later get some different carpet
like this good boat carpet it's not bad but suede or something dial pad we'll
get some different sure this thing up for Michael they did a good job medium goes nice but
it's time for an upgrade due to the fire damage let's take it apart anyway we got
some fur pieces over there okay so our goal right now is to take off things
that are related to the engine itself it's a little harder and trickier this
time because we don't know what we're gonna do yet the 500 or keep this one so
we kind of want to see what's going on record it may take pictures and
everything when we did the Raptor was easier because he had a whole one and a
burnt lining just small part so if we knew everything was gone but this case
it could get tricky so I would want to make a mess we've got to be careful
precise all right so we're continuing it it's
coming along nicely a lot more damage than I thought everything's gonna go so
next thing we're do is we're gonna take all these little bits out yeah take the
rivets out and then you know clean up a little bit more and I'll keep taking all
all the fire damage so if you're nice and clean when you're back you know up
afterwards so let's keep at it alright guys we got a lot done today
it's looking really good you got to cleaned up a little bit we
got all the bad wires out and cut a lot removes a lotta business each one of the
aluminum is bad so we need to go order some and keep going about it so I'm just
looking good we need a wire harness so we've been
looking around pretty much this is a from a 99 to 2000 for this engine so we
can buy a parts car use that wire harness and just try and make this
engine run or we can go with the 5 on swap or we're thinking you know go crazy
we can go with a gt3 CR with the 5.2 brooder engine and we actually have one
here so we guess things should we go with this cuz we just mixed it but I
mean still use it the edge that would be insane that would be over I mean we have
everything we have the engine transmissions of 6 p ln 2000 miles on it
i mean this would be a good walk but then what we're gonna do with the
body oh yeah imagine having that all that
power and that thing right there that's crazy that would be oh yeah definitely
my seat belt out for that one and go for a ride that's all guys we did this
rebuild you guys check it out yeah check it out it's almost dad still we put
strikes on it we're debating but honestly it's right there all right guys
I think we have one more option it's a little bit controversial you know I mean
it's not a Ford but what what do you guys think if we did Honda swapping is
TJ I mean 9,000 rpms six you know six speed it spit in there I don't know we
might lose subscribers but think about you look how small it is this would fit
in there 9,000 rpms think about it I mean we'd have to put a turbo on it I
mean nobody's done it before that would be crazy
I mean literally take this engine out I put it up no probably not
I mean just you know I have another crazy idea if I didn't want to go there
we did we actually have a 6.2 motor outside let's go check it out yeah check
out this bad boy yeah so this is from our burned Raptor the 6.2 this would
have a lot of torch part of tell of this thing is massive little fog ways and we
can make all the drive Bing I think that the only Cobra with a
Raptor motor in it alright guys so we definitely want to you know do some kind
of swap or you know a lot of power but we definitely need wheels though so we
go through some options and we're thinking since we've got the Mustang
right here these wheels are sick oh yeah carbon fiber they're huge and we
actually have one check that out will not be sick and this
is the front wheel so the back one will be bigger how wide is that that's crazy
but we need to get a big break stuff I mean we gotta put some kind of spacer
on it but I don't think traction would be an issue definitely get some wheels
maybe go a little bit of more water who knows I mean especially if we do it
different kind of swap we'll have a lot more power
we're definitely what if I'm gonna stick I'll get some slicks on there I mean
look at that it looks like you're clear that's pretty sick so we got we got a
lot of decisions to make and we need your help guys

should we keep this engine should we do the 5 to boot oh she was going out 2008
mm-hmm I mean or some other swaps you know I mean we're definitely gonna stay
with the Ford swap I don't think we're doing it unless I'll think yeah it's a
Ford with the frame digging out of it everything's possible but it's more time
